Breaking the chain

We are always looking for peace in our lives. Whether we work towards it or not, is a separate story altogether. However, there are times when the call from inside is so strong that, you get strength and energy to break the ongoing cycle of regular events and do something, which you are sure is going to give you relaxation, peace and happiness. There are various ways, in which we answer to these calls. Wise people choose wise options. In a scale from wisest to most foolish options, there is somewhere in the middle but closer to wisdom -an option that says - Take a pause, and enjoy with friends - Friends, who have become friends naturally without any effort and where expectations are at bare minimum but happiness when together at maximum.

This is what prompted each four of us to go for a break. The place where to go - was not necessary. The necessary was to cut out ourselves from the day to day life for a day, and just be together, talk about what's happening around, discuss ideas about life and discuss some plans - which may or may not materialize in future - who cares!

The D-Day was chosen to be Friday, 6th May. All informed in offices about the leaves. Some informed at home, and some preferred to keep it a secret. In the morning Gautam, Verma & Sinha got altogether and Sinha drove all to my house. It was my mother's birthday as well on that day, and I was not ready by the time they reached my house. It was kind of a surprising fact that, nobody had any pressure on them but all reached so early in the morning to spend time with each other. That is what happens, when the motivation is from the core of inside. I and Mithu had planned the previous day that, we will surprise everyone by the sudden Skype video chat, which we did and recorded as well. After that, the gang of 4 started for Botanix resort - A resort, which was suggested by the wisest of us - Gautam, and all just followed him.

Throughout the way, we kept chatting, and kept the excitement on until we reached the Botanix. We all knew that, we just have to enjoy time with each other and activities, place - all had lesser significance. But, as they say that, less you worry, better the results will be. The place turned out to be quite a decent place, where we enjoyed playing cricket, riding Camel, doing some games which we would never do, if we are alone. Sinha was hell scary of heights and rides, but who can resist if rest all are forcing. We had a nice breakfast and lunch. Post lunch we rested in Charpoys and discussed about the current phase of IT industry, and what is happening in the so called Agile world. I would not be exaggerating, if I say that we turned a picnic spot into an IT Conference on the Agile World. Few were supporters of the Agile methodology, and few opened fires on it. Nevertheless, all enjoyed and learned from the discussion, which was the least expected at a place, where we had been at that time. But, that is what was the USP of our group. We let everything flow on it's own - Naturally. Just like a river flows down from a hill to the plane areas traveling through all sort of stones, impediments etc.

Then came the swimming pool time. We realized that, we had to go outside to buy some pairs of 3/4ths in order to jump into the swimming pool. We did that, and got some cheap options in the market. I guess we were the only group, which took a dive in the swimming pool after the lunch. Gautam started floating, and started inspiring Sinha and myself for the same. We remember that, 5-6 years back, he had taught us the art of floating. Initially, Sinha and myself didn't gather courage but soon joined him. Verma kept on enjoying the swimming and ensured to wear a heartening smile on his face, as he always does. His shouting to Sinha as "Lala" is still alive in my ears, and is a soothing one. One thing is common in all that, we talk from our hearts. Words don't matter, but the feelings they carry or the vibrations they carry are always positive. There is nothing else, which today's world requires in order to create a happy world.

Around 5 o'clock, we came out of the pool and enjoyed some snacks. Post which, it was time to leave. We were almost surprised that, how the whole day finished so fast. That is what happens when the heart enjoys the time. This is also related to the theory of relativity, which Einstein had given. He had explained that, you feel 1 hour as 1 min, if you are sitting next to a beautiful lady and you will feel 1 min. as 1 hour, if you are sitting next to a hot burning fire.

That is how, we re-energised ourselves and promised that, we will have next meet soon and will not delay the same, as there was a considerable amount of gap between the last and the current meet.

We have always gone with the flow, and will always do it as and when the proper time comes. Everyone has gone back to the regular wheel of life events, but with more inner happiness and more energy.

May this lovely bond grow with time, and have a positive impact on everyone's life. Aameen !
