Enjoying the death

I remember the day, when I first time had read the words of Mahatma Gandhi "Paap se ghrana karo, paapi se nahin" (Hate the sin, not the sinner). Probably, I was too small to realize it's importance. It took me further few years to start understanding the real meaning of it. And, another few years to notice that, when you really hate the sin, but actually love the sinner then, you feel so much of pain in your heart. What can give you more pain than the feeling, which you get when you see your closed one falling in a trench and you cannot do anything other than praying for him. The one falling is enjoying the ride of his fall, and is unable to realize the reality. Thats the moment, when you feel completely helpless.

This 'close to me' friend of mine has been enjoying the ride of his fall since a long time. The liquor has seduced him so much that, he always tries to justify drinking it. I know, somewhere deep in the heart, he also knows this is not doing any good to him. But, the attraction of the evil is so strong that, the voice of the soul never reaches his mind. He says, he enjoys drinking it. And, the drinking helps him filling the emptiness inside him. My another friend, gave the right option to him to fill the emptiness. He suggested him to fill his heart with love. The effect of which will be life long, and will not act like a temporary solution, that the liquor offers. But, the catch of the evil sometimes becomes so strong that, the person in the hold of it denies taking flower and accepts the thorns thinking that the thorns would give him the smell. Whatever logic, he may give to himself for the thorns, the thorns will remain thorns and will always give pain to his SOUL, which he may or may not realize at that time.

I reallize now that, the evil forces are quite strong in magnitude, and it creates an illusionary circle around the poor people in such a manner that the person becomes blind and finds himself unable to see outside the circle.

There is only one method, I think which is the solution of this problem. PRAY.

If we really want to change the bad habits of any person, the only solution is 'to pray'. It is really true that no prayer gets unanswered. We may not understand the way, it has been answered, but the truth is that every that prayer which comes from heart is answered.

Therefore, instead of discussing with my friend, I have started praying for him. I wish if he could break all the chains, enforced upon him by the evil. Death comes to all, there is no doubt about it. But, that doesn't mean that we have the right to misuse the body, which the soul is using to spend it's time on earth. The whole purpose of soul to be on earth is to break the cycle of birth and death and to merge in the divinity. Though, all know it, only few realize it.

Everbody takes birth in the same way, but dies in the way according to his deeds on earth.

I wish, someday my friend would stop enjoying misusing the armour of his soul, and come back to the origin from where we all had started. I pray that he would stop enjoying this undesirable MegaDeath, and instead dance with joy in the harmony of his soul.

The unkindness in the kind

Standing outside of a mall, I see a number of alive bodies moving in and out. It looked like the rising value of sensex has convinced the physical bodies that they can take go for the momentary pleasures, which sometimes leaves a longer pain on the soul that the bodies are supposed to carry. Well, for a moment I made myself confused on the fact that it is the body that is carrying the soul or is it the other way round.
While searching presence of the souls in the visible physical bodies, I looked at the souls which were given rather incomplete bodies by the ultimate. I was just thinking that where the whole body was present, the soul had to be searched out and where the soul is completely visible, the body doesn't look like a complete one. Such are rules of the nature, nobody can defy them.
I saw few bodies going to a soul and throwing some pieces of metals, which they called some rupees (or paisa). The incomplete body collected the metal pieces with no change in emotion. May be he was sure now that he has got another night to live on. Greater was the change in the attitude of the donor bodies. Perhaps they were thinking they have done something good, and they will be given some prize from the ultimate for this. A feeling, which the world refers to kindness. I remembered one story of Swami Vivekananda. One day a beggar approached him for some money. He gave him few rupees, and asked for how long will it be sufficient. The beggar replied "1 week". Swamiji didn't feel happy. He gave him a bundle of ruppes and asked "and now?". The beggar said "1 month". Swamiji still wasn't happy. He gave him all of the money, and left with a painful feeling that once the money gets over, the beggar will again be in problem.
This is the kindness, the benchmark of real concern for others.
When a person feels pain after seeing pain of a stranger, and then if he decides to do something while remaining in the same feeling, that is the real concern. That is the real help. That is the real kindness. All other forms of kindness, where one feels relIaxed, peaceful or happy after helping another person without exactly feeling his real pain is not the kindness. It is becoming rude against another soul. It is becoming unkind to self. It is going against the nature of something which is inside us and people refer it to as soul.
